FIRE PROTECTION FOR THE WASTE AND RECYCLING INDUSTRY

Waste and recycling material processing companies are at high risk of fire due to the complex material mix they receive from waste management companies. The high flammability of materials, large storage volumes and the high speed of automated processing support rapid fire spread.

One Seven fixed firefighting systems have already proven their worth in many waste processing plants and recycling facilities. They are based on compressed air foam as a highly effective extinguishing agent. This foam is automatically discharged to the entire area, punctual via IR camera-controlled extinguishing monitors or by trained personnel via hose lines.
