1. RIGHTS OF USERS AND DATA SUBJECTS

 

With regard to the data processing described in more detail below, users and data subjects have the right to confirmation as to whether data concerning them is being processed, to information about the data processed, to further information about the data processing and to copies of the data (Art. 15 GDPR); to rectification or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR); to immediate erasure of data concerning them (Art. 17 GDPR), or, where further processing is required pursuant to Art. 17 para. 3 GDPR, to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR; to receive the data concerning them and provided by them, and to transmit this data to other providers/controllers (Art. 20 GDPR); and to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if they are of the opinion that data concerning them is being processed by the provider in violation of data protection provisions (Art. 77 GDPR).

SERVER LOGS / HOSTING

 

When our website is accessed, the following data is automatically stored in server log files: IP address of the requesting device (anonymised after 24 hours), date and time of access, URL or page accessed, browser type and operating system, referrer URL, and data volume transferred and HTTP status code. This data is used exclusively to ensure the secure operation of the website and for troubleshooting, and is deleted after a maximum of 30 days. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

 

CONTRACT PROCESSING

 

The data you provide for the use of our goods and/or services is processed by us for the purpose of contract fulfilment and is necessary to that extent. A contract cannot be concluded or fulfilled without the provision of your data. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. We delete the data upon complete fulfilment of the contract, subject to statutory retention periods under tax and commercial law. In the course of contract fulfilment, we pass on your data to the transport company commissioned with delivery or to the financial service provider, insofar as the transfer is necessary for delivery or payment purposes.

 

NEWSLETTER

 

If you subscribe to our free newsletter, the data requested from you – your e-mail address and, optionally, your name and address – will be transmitted to us. At the same time, we store the IP address of the internet connection you used to access our website, as well as the date and time of your registration. CONTACT REQUESTS / CONTACT OPTIONS

 

If you contact us via contact form or e-mail, the data you provide will be used to process your enquiry. Providing the data is necessary for processing and responding to your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Your data will be deleted once your enquiry has been conclusively answered and no statutory retention obligations stand in the way of deletion.

 

ONLINE JOB APPLICATIONS

 

We offer you the opportunity to apply for positions via our website. In these digital applications, your applicant and application data is collected and processed electronically by us to handle the application process. The legal basis is Section 26 para. 1 sentence 1 BDSG in conjunction with Art. 88 para. 1 GDPR.

 

If an employment contract is concluded after the application process, we store the data you submitted in your personnel file for the purpose of the usual organisational and administrative process. If an application is rejected, we automatically delete the transmitted data two months after notification of the rejection, unless statutory provisions require longer storage. If you expressly consent to longer storage, the data will continue to be processed on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You may withdraw this consent at any time pursuant to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR.

 

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

 

We use Google Analytics on our website. This is a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The service is used to analyse user behaviour on our website. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimisation and economical operation of our website.

 

Usage and user-related information such as IP address, location, time or frequency of visits to our website is transmitted to and stored on a Google server. We use Google Analytics with the anonymisation function, whereby Google truncates the IP address within the EU or EEA.

We maintain online presences on the social networks listed below in order to present our company and services and to communicate with customers and interested parties. Integration on our website is via linked graphics or text links. This integration prevents an automatic connection to the servers of the social networks when our website is accessed. Only by clicking on the corresponding graphic or link will the user be redirected to the respective service. After being redirected, information about the user is collected by the respective network. It cannot be excluded that data collected in this way may be processed in the USA.
