OFFICIAL APPROVALS
NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), in the United States, integrated the “Compressed Air Foam” in Chapter 7 of the NFPA 11 (2010 version). The new concept was then officially acknowledged with its own specificities and particularly a very low application rate: 1,63 l/min/m² for hydrocarbons.
FM Global followed by amending its standard FM5130 according to the NFPA 11. One Seven® passed all the tests with high success and the approval will be delivered beginning of 2012.
VNIIPO, in Russia, approved the whole One Seven® system including the foam concentrate and the dedicated nozzles.
TÜV, in Germany, approved several One Seven® installations in compliance with the German standard DIN 14493-100 and DIN EN 13565 (tunnels, petrochemical sites, hydro powerplants, recycling factories, television studios, foundries, cable ducts for the subway, etc.)
One Seven® System is compliant with ICAO Standard. Various heliports equipped with One Seven® were approved by the TÜV organization or by the TNO.
